Want The Whole Story Of How We Became Shelby Donald & Company?
After pulling off more than 60 high-end weddings in Arizona and planning my own destination wedding just outside Vail, Colorado, I decided to take the show on the road. Literally.
During my own extended honeymoon, I built my first wedding website while traveling Greece with my family, and then returned to the US to hit the ground running with no plan B.
After settling down in Boise, I started connecting with old friends from my Corner Club days, made new connections with vendors in and around the Treasure Valley, and decided to launch my wedding planning business.
In our first year, we (I) supported four Boise couples. By year two, we grew to serving 16 couples and added four new team members. Today, we're a team of five lead coordinators, booking a year in advance and serving the best couples in the Treasure Valley.
In 2024, we were nominated for Idaho's Best Wedding & Event Planner and named finalists for Idaho Bride Magazine's Favorite Wedding Planner.
And in 2025, we were awarded The Knot's Best of Weddings.
We've come so far, and at the same time, we're just getting started.
Our hope is to one day open a wedding venue — leveraging all our expertise to serve even more couples on their big day.
